History

Alpha Company was formed in the spring of 1976, coinciding with the restructuring of the Aggie Band into six outfits.  While A-Co’s top priority was academics, class unity and a family-type relationship between upperclassmen was also stressed.  Integrity, pride, and loyalty to the Aggie Band were very important qualities to the outfit and remain its foundation today.

Our Mission

Our main mission in A-Company is to produce sharp and confident leaders for the Aggie Band, the Corps, Texas A&M, and life after graduation.  In order to do so, A-Co will continue to challenge our members by holding our people to a higher standard and by fusing the tightest bonds within classes.
